Too many times people from local community organizations have said to us, “I wish I had known about that opportunity before it was gone,” the opportunity to apply for a non-commercial radio station.
CMAP does thorough, systematic and comprehensive outreach and community group assistance, so we do not hear this lament again.
What We Do
CMAP reaches out to community groups who might be interested in applying for non-commercial radio stations.
CMAP will: help community groups to prepare an application; help the groups to increase organizational capacity; and then assist those groups through the application process, and then the build process.
For Community Groups who have a Construction Permit (CP)to build their LPFM stations: your CP may be going to expire sometime soon.
